Custom Fit

I got a call a few months ago from someone who had a door replace after some kids kicked the old one in looking for some fast cash and a little trouble. Well they found the trouble when the cops came knocking on one kids door after finding her ID on the floor of this house. Really? Yes, that stupid. Well it turns out those kids weren't the only idiots to show up at this place. The "carpenter" who replaced the damaged door had no clue what a good door install looked like and the only thing I could do to fix it was to get rid of it and start over.
I didn't take any before pictures because it's all been seen before. He took a 36" door and cut 2 inches off of it to fit a 34 inch opening. WRONG! I ordered a 34 inch door, reworked the Jam installed a new threshold and set a new dead bolt. Then painted it (the other guy just left that job for the home owner on the door he "installed") and added weather strip. When Sue called me about the work I asked why she didn't get the guy to come back fix the problem. She said, "I don't want him in my house." When I saw his work I knew why. She's having me back in her house to renovate the kitchen.

Handing It Over To Emily And Brian

This was a fun couple to work with. Very excited to get a wall that separated the small dining room and the small kitchen removed to create an open space for cooking entertaining or just to be able to move around. It's got flow now. I got them to this point and I'll be on call to help if they need it.
Full power Emily!
