Packing It In

Here’s a count of what we were able to fit in 96 square feet:
17 linear feet of cabinets including a 36 inch sink base, an over sized washer dryer stack and a 36 inch refrigerator all thoughtfully place to allow enough room to work. But we also included appealing touches by adding a tile floor, crown molding, 4 gimbaled recessed lights and a very durable yet attractive board and baton wall surface that cant be damaged like drywall could be in an area like a laundry room.

I like working small spaces; anyone can design around enough square footage.
. Liv (pronounced Leave) and Brian have been challenging my space planning skills for about a year and a half now. First it was in their rental property they thought they’d be moving back into where we needed to fit a half bath into part of the boiler room. I could have pulled it off but the numbers couldn’t work.

Right as we were about to punt life happened with, the rental house staying rental, another home purchase and finishing off the laundry room. Keep an eye on this one; you won’t believe how much we’ll get in this 96 square foot room.

The Dog Days of Demo

People should be careful when they invite me over. This has happened twice to John and Linda Pace but this time they were ready for it. The first time Linda was ready to deliver (and I don’t mean pizza) when they had me over for a visit. Next thing you know they were eating takeout. But now their house is for sale so they’re packing up slowly and I’m getting this space ready before they move in.
