I'm a Good Listener

 This little project is ready for screening and the door install. Have to wait a week for the special order cedar screen door and for my buddy Jimmy of Screen Mobile. But turn around on this has been quick and the owner is really excited. Apparently no one else got the idea of what she wanted or didn't listen or just didn't know what to do. Two other "improvement" contractors looked at this, they were told the idea was to add railing to match the existing, an opening for a screen door along with framing to receive the screening. They both then tried to talk her into taking the easy way out, whatever that is. I don't bash my competition. If you're good at this type of work and you get the job then you deserve it. I have even worked for businesses that I bid against in the past but when I hear these stories I can't help but smile a little. I know these guys and for what they do they're both good and honest. But in this case, the owner needed someone to listen be creative and make it look like it's always been there.
